Unfortunately this is the only picture I have of
Daisy.
She is to the right of the picture, the darker doe in
the center is her dam, Stonewell's Lady Bug. We
lost Daisy after a c-section her first kidding of
quads. She was a daughter of Kappio Acres Red
Butt'ler, and a very stylish, correct doe. Cocoa and
Tanner are part of the quads that were born.

Although Pixie and Dixie are small, I am very
pleased with Tanner's influence on these two does.
They are both quite similar. We will be breeding
both to Smokin Hot Honey for May 2011. We have
found Tanner daughters to be a great cross with
Smokey.

I am so glad we decided to keep this doe.
Precious dam was an accidental breeding and
we lost her immediately after kidding. Because
of the traumatic delivery, Precious required
mouth to mouth resuscitation to save her as
well. We normally do not line breed this tightly,
but this gal is quite the genetic package. She
has phenomenal udder genetics. We will be
putting her in the show ring in July 2010. I
really think she is a diamond in the rough. She
has a great front end assembly, tight
shoulders, defined brisket, she is wide through
the thurl and hocks, with an open high attached
escutcheon. She has tremendous body
capacity. She has great legs and upright
pasterns with width between front and rear
legs. She will be bred to Smokin Hot Honey for
April 2011, adding increased dairy character
to her kids. I expect great things from this doe.
