ROSASHARN BH BIT A ROSE
DOB: 3-26-10
Bitta Rose had an extremely tough kidding with a single 5 pound buck that
she was unable to pass. After an hour of assisting her, I was able to
deliver her buckling. Her kid did not survive, but she did. Three days of
intensive care and constant monitoring here on the farm, Rosy was on her
way to recovery. She enjoyed the attention, and being spoiled. She is
now enjoying the sun and pasture and will be bred this fall. We did not
keep her in lactation. She freshened with a very correct udder, tightly
attached, strong MSL and very nice teat placement. Her udder was
identical to her sister Daisy.
Rosy has an incredible pedigree loaded with champions as well as does
with high milk production. She is a tight compact doe with open flat
ribbing, long sloping top line, body capacity, and very flashy general
appearance. I feel she will be an awesome cross with Epic adding
refinement and increased dairy character.
